Crisis política

Esta semana nos hemos encontrado con un vuelco en la cúpula del Partido Popular, y todo por sacar unos trapos sucios, que quizás debieran haberse investigado en interno, antes de hacerlos públicos. No han sabido medir bien las consecuencias, y se han comportado como en un patio de colegio. No es la primera vez que vemos este tipo de situaciones. Lo vimos en el PSOE hace dos años, con su guerra interna, con Podemos en varias ocasiones, etc.

La semana pasada hablaba de la diferencia entre políticos y para-líticos. Cada vez se me despejan más las dudas.

This week we have found a turnaround in the leadership of the Popular Party, and all to bring out some dirty laundry, which perhaps should have been investigated internally, before making it public. They have not known how to measure the consequences well, and their behaviour is like children in a schoolyard. It is not the first time that we see this type of situation. We saw it in the PSOE two years ago, with its internal war, with Podemos on several occasions, etc.

Last week I was talking about the difference between politicians and para-liticians. My doubts are clearing up more and more.

Aclarando términos

Finalizadas las elecciones en Castilla y León, llega el momento de formar un gobierno autonómico. A la vista de las declaraciones de esta semana basadas en el ya famoso "Y tú más" , no parece que vaya a ser sencillo.

Me he acordado de un dibujo de hace unos cuantos años, donde describía este tipo de situaciones, y que a la vez quería mandar un guiño a nuestros grandes deportistas.

Ahora sólo queda esperar, para comprobar si tenemos políticos o para-líticos.

Fallo informático

Vaya lío en la votación de la semana pasada en el Congreso. 

Unos que dicen que si, y al final es que no, y otro que se confunde al votar.

Y al final, la culpa es de los informáticos. Creo que un requisito mínimo para llegar a ser político, debería ser leer con cierta soltura, para interpretar bien las letras.

Aunque lo que realmente da miedo es pensar, que si se confunden entre un sí y un no, que pasará cuando tengan que negociar unos presupuestos llenos de números. Así nos va.

What a mess in last week's vote in Congress.

Some who say yes, and in the end it is no, and another who gets confused when voting.

La sexta ola

Parece que la sexta ola está remitiendo, aunque muy lentamente, y todavía con muchos contagios diarios, y lo que es peor, de fallecidos.

Menos mal que tenemos memoria de pez, y olvidaremos estas cifras enseguida, lo malo es que cuando llegue la séptima ola, nos volveremos a preguntar qué estamos haciendo mal.

It seems that the sixth wave is subsiding, although very slowly, and still with many daily infections, and what is worse, deaths.

Luckily we have a memory like a fish, and we will forget these figures right away, the bad thing is that when the seventh wave arrives, we will ask ourselves again what we are doing wrong.

Nadal ha vuelto

Nadal ha vuelto. Nos ha deleitado con un partidazo que le ha llevado a la cima del tenis, después de pensar en retirarse hace unos meses.

La capacidad de superación, de sufrimiento, de no rendirse nunca, que tiene Nadal son increíbles. Nunca da nada por perdido, a pesar de que lo tenía bastante perdido. Pero allí estaba Rafa para demostrarnos que estábamos equivocados, y hacer historia.

Enhorabuena campeón.

Nadal is back. He has delighted us with a great game that has taken him to the top of tennis, after thinking about retiring a few months ago.

The ability to overcome, to suffer, to never give up, that Nadal has are incredible. He never gives anything up for lost, even though he had it pretty lost. But Rafa was there to prove us wrong, and make history.

Relaciones con EEUU

Momentos complicados en el mundo, debido a la crisis con Ucrania. Parece mentira que en este siglo estemos como en la Edad Media, donde los problemas se resolvían con guerras. Esperemos que vuelva la cordura y todo quede en nada.

Mientras, nuestros dirigentes son ignorados por las potencias mundiales, por mucho que quieran hacer ver que las relaciones son de primer nivel.

Complicated moments in the world, due to the crisis with Ukraine. It seems incredible that in this century we are like in the Middle Ages, where problems were solved with wars. Hopefully sanity returns and everything comes to nothing.

Meanwhile, our leaders are ignored by the world powers, no matter how much they want to pretend that relations are of the first level.

El banco malo

Ayer leía que el estado va a asumir el control de la Sareb, también conocido como banco malo, y con ello, el déficit de 35.000 millones. Que lo asuma el estado, significa que lo pagamos nosotros, los contribuyentes, porque cuando hay superávit, si es que alguna vez lo hubo, ya se encargan ellos de "solventarlo" sin contar con nosotros.

El caso es que me acordé de este dibujo del año 2012, que sigue siendo actual, porque no todo en el banco malo, es malo, los sueldos siguen siendo buenos

 Yesterday I read that the state is going to take control of Sareb, also known as a bad bank, and with it, the deficit of 35,000 million. That the state assumes it, means that we, the taxpayers, pay for it, because when there is a surplus, if there ever was one, they are already in charge of "solving" it without counting on us.
