Además de la pandemia, nos ha llegado la nevada del siglo acompañada de una ola de frío, en estas primeras semanas de Enero. Parece que no nevaba de esta manera desde hace 50 años, al menos en Madrid. En mi caso, y tras haber vivido 20 años en Burgos, no es la primera nevada de este tipo que he visto, pero es verdad que cada vez estamos menos acostumbrados.
Lo importante ahora es no olvidarnos que la pandemia sigue ahí, y que aunque la nieve haya dejado unos paisajes idílicos y apetezca pisar nieve, debemos hacerlo con mucha precaución.

In addition to the pandemic, we have received the snow of the century accompanied by a cold wave, in these first weeks of January. It seems that it had not snowed this way for 50 years, at least in Madrid. In my case, and after having lived 20 years in Burgos, it is not the first snowfall of this type that I have seen, but it is true that we are less and less used to it.
The important thing now is not to forget that the pandemic is still there, and that although the snow has left some idyllic landscapes and we feel like stepping on snow, we must do so with great caution.
