Primer contacto con Lean

Como últimamente he publicado algunos dibujos de Lean (y lo que os queda...), hoy quería hacer un homenaje a todas aquellas personas que tienen la habilidad de da hablar de algo que no conocen, y quedar como expertos.

Si no les falla el subconsciente, e intentan profundizar más allá de donde deben, pueden hablar de generalidades sin despeinarse, y la mayoría de las personas ni se darán cuenta de que no hay nada detrás.

As I have recently posted some pictures of Lean (and I hve more for the future), today I wanted to pay tribute to all those people who have the ability to give talk about something they do not know, and look like experts.

Seamos sinceros, Lean IT está de moda. Como cualquier otra metodología intenta mejorar nuestros procesos, pero esta vez desde un punto de vista diferente.

No es una metodología nueva, sólo la capa fashion lo es. La verdad es que hace muchos años que se puso en marcha en una empresa de automóviles, y hoy se ha exportado a todo tipo de entornos.

Su lema es reducir aquellas actividades que o aportan ningún valor, haciendo más ligeros los procesos.

Nowadays, Lean IT is fashionable. Like any other methodology aims to improve our processes, but this time from a different perspective.

Hablando de tablets, ya no sólo importa el tamaño, sino también el peso. Cada vez son más ligeras, y es por lo que apuestan los fabricantes.

Los anuncios que vemos en la prensa van en esta línea.

Supongo que habrán aplicado LEAN a los materiales, y han quitado todo aquello que no era esencial.

La verdad es que después de varios años participando en itSMF, he querido hacer un balance de mis aportaciónes a la comunidad, sobre metodologías.

Tengo un balance de 4 metodologías creadas al 100% por mi. Creo que me voy a forrar con los royalties.

La verdad es que tenemos muchas metodologías, y todas buscan lo mismo en su esencia. Ser más productivos a un menor coste, y con mayor calidad.

Lo que no podemos es aplicar todas al tiempo. Lo importante es sentirse cómodo con una, aplicarla, y luego ir viendo otras metodologías, que puedan aportar alguna mejora adicional.

The truth is that we have many methods, and all are looking the same in essence. Be more productive at lower costs and with higher quality.
What you can not do is apply all of them at the same time. The important thing is to feel comfortable with one, apply it, and then go see other methodologies that may provide some additional improvement.
