El otro día escuchaba a una niña que hablaba con su abuela, mientras esperaban al autobús. Intentaba explicarla algo del móvil, y se me ocurrió este dibujo.

Hoy termino con la serie de BYOD, y quería hacer un homenaje a los pioneros de este acrónimo, que en sus inicios nada tenía que ver con la tecnología. 

En los años 70, se utilizaba este término, y otros similares, en las fiestas entre amigos (Bring Your Own Drink), para que cada uno aportase algo de beber. Parece ser que el término empezó a utilizarse en Australia.

Siguiendo con el BYOD, hoy publico un dibujo que hice hace varios años, exactamente hace siete años. Como podréis ver, yo ya era un pionero en esto de los móviles inteligentes, lo que pasa es que Apple me robo la idea, y fabricó uno similar, pero un poco más compacto.

Bromas aparte, lo que viene a decir este dibujo es que hay que poner un poco de orden, y si aceptamos que BYOD es parte de la estrategia de una empresa, al menos decidiremos que tipo de móviles vamos a aceptar. No todos valen.

Following the BYOD, today I publish a drawing I did several years ago, exactly seven years ago. As you can see, I was already a pioneer in smart phones, but Apple stole my idea, and produced a similar one, but slightly more compact.

Jokes aside, what this drawing means, is that you have to put some order, and if we accept that BYOD is part of the strategy of the company, at least decide what kind of mobile will be accepted. Not all are worth.

Siguiendo con la serie sobre BYOD, creo que es importante en estos entornos, poner un mínimo de reglas de uso de los terminales, que van a ser utilizados con información de la compañía.

Lo normal es crear dos entornos dentro del propio dispositivo, donde podamos separar la información corporativa de la personal.

Hoy he dibujado un hecho real. Algo que me ocurrió en una comida de amigos. Alguien tenía un nuevo smartphone, que traía Facebook instalado, pero no tenía un usuario para entrar.

De este hecho se pueden sacar dos conclusiones. La primera es que a veces compramos cosas que no sabemos para que sirven, pero que si no lo tienes parece que vives en otro mundo.

La segunda conclusion y más importante, por difícil que pueda parecer, es que todavía hay gente que puede vivir sin tener una cuenta en Facebook. Creo que hasta me dan envidia.

Today I want to make a picture about a real fact. Something that happened to me at a lucnh with friends. Someone had a new smartphone, bringing Facebook installed but did not have a user for login.

From this we can extract two conclusions. The first is that sometimes we buy things we do not know what to do with them, but if you do not think you live in another world.
