Se pone en marcha una nueva normativa Europea sobre seguridad de la información en las empresas. Las empresas se clasificarán según su criticidad, por la afectación que podrían tener en el conjunto de la sociedad. Habrá empresas críticas, como las energéticas, banca etc, y otras consideradas importantes, como producción de alimentos o gestión de residuos. Según su criticidad, tendrán más o menos controles.

A new European regulation on information security in companies is being implemented. Companies will be classified according to their criticality, based on the impact they could have on society as a whole. Some companies will be critical, such as energy, banking, etc., and others will be considered important, such as food production or waste management. En las últimas dos semanas varias empresas importantes del país, han sido hackeadas. Como resultado, muchos usuarios han visto expuestos sus datos personales, con las consecuencias que eso puede tener. Ahora hay prestar mucha más atención a correos, SMS's, WhatsApp, y llamadas, no vaya a ser que nos líen y nos den un disgusto. Pero tampoco hay que olvidarse de las wifis gratuitas, y más ahora que empieza el verano y las vacaciones. Mucho cuidado con ellas.

Hoy en día los responsables de seguridad, son como los espías. Siempre tienen que estar atentos para evitar ataques que pondrían en peligro la seguridad de la empresa. Algo como lo que hace James Bond, aunque en este caso siempre vela por la seguridad mundial. Los CISO's son un poco más humildes y su ámbito de actuación se circunscribe a la empresa, que no es poco. Sirva este dibujo como un homenaje a todos ellos.

Nowadays those responsible for security are like spies. They always have to be vigilant to avoid attacks that would endanger the security of the company. Vacaciones de lujo

Sin duda uno de los requisitos más importantes para buscar un hotel, es que tenga wifi gratuita. Lo demás no importa, pero la wifi es imprescindible. Aunque no para mí, que por seguridad, nunca las utilizo.

Esta semana veíamos en prensa y televisión, como era posible hackear las huellas dactilares de una persona, a partir de un selfie con los dedos en señal de victoria, que subíamos a Internet.
