Pues si, me he jubilado. Después de 44 años trabajando, de los cuales los último 36 en Alcampo, he decidido poner un punto y final a mi ciclo laboral. Durante todos estos años, en la mayoría, he disfrutado de mi trabajo, y los momentos donde no he disfrutado tanto, ya se me han olvidado. Es lo que ocurre cuando te haces mayor, que se te olvidan las cosas.
La verdad es que prefiero quedarme con lo positivo. Dejo un montón de buenos profesionales y amigos con los que he compartido más de media vida, y a algunos de ellos, le seguiré viendo fuera del trabajo.
A todos nos llega la hora (la de jubilarnos), y de pasar a mejor vida (la jubilación), y en mi caso decidí adelantarlo un poco, porque llegó un momento en el que necesitaba dejar el estrés del día a día, los mails a los cuales siempre consideré un arma de destrucción masiva, las llamadas de teléfono a cualquier hora. Era mi trabajo, era el Director de Producción, y cualquier incidencia podía alterar el paso de nuestros clientes, así que había que estar disponible. No me importaba, sabía que mi posición conllevaba esa responsabilidad, pero en un momento dado, noté que necesitaba parar. Para los que me seguís con mis viñetas, deciros que no os vais a librar de mi tan fácilmente. La consultora "Tas' tu bueno punto com" no echa el cierre, pero no se lo digáis a Hacienda.

Yes, I've retired. After 44 years of work, the last 36 of which were at Alcampo, I've decided to bring my working life to a close. For most of these years, I've enjoyed my work, and the times I didn't enjoy it as much are now just a memory. That's what happens when you get older; you forget things.
The truth is, I prefer to focus on the positive. I'm leaving behind a lot of great colleagues and friends with whom I've shared more than half my life, and I'll continue to see some of them outside of work.
The time comes for everyone (to retire), and for us to move on to a better life (retirement), and in my case, I decided to bring it forward a bit because there came a point when I needed to escape the daily stress, the emails that I always considered a weapon of mass destruction, the phone calls at all hours. It was my job; I was the Production Director, and any incident could disrupt our customers' buyings, so I had to be available. I didn't mind; I knew my position came with that responsibility, but at a certain point, I realized I needed to stop. For those of you who follow my comics, let me tell you, you're not getting rid of me that easily. The consulting firm "Tas' tu bueno punto com" isn't closing down, but don't tell the tax authorities.
