Considero un arte salir en TV para contarnos cosas que sabemos que no son ciertas, pero hacerlo de tal manera que casi te llegan a convencer de que si lo son.

Mientras tanto seguimos sufriendo una pandemia que sigue estando en máximos, por mucho que nos digan que ya hemos llegado al pico.

Nos recuperamos de la nieve, y nos anuncian lluvias, inundaciones y vientos. Vaya inicio de año que llevamos. Dado que la pandemia no nos da tregua, esperemos que al menos el tiempo, si nos la dé.

Seguimos con hielo y nieve en las calles, y los vecinos se juntan para limpiar sus aceras y zonas comunes. La ola de frío trae una ola de solidaridad y es el momento de socializar. Estos días mientras limpiábamos de hielo y nieve nuestra urbanización, he hablado con vecinos que no conocía. Al final, la nevada del siglo ha servido para algo.

We continue with ice and snow on the streets, and the neighbors gather to clean their sidewalks and common areas. The cold wave brings a wave of solidarity and it's time to socialize. Además de la pandemia, nos ha llegado la nevada del siglo acompañada de una ola de frío, en estas primeras semanas de Enero. Parece que no nevaba de esta manera desde hace 50 años, al menos en Madrid. En mi caso, y tras haber vivido 20 años en Burgos, no es la primera nevada de este tipo que he visto, pero es verdad que cada vez estamos menos acostumbrados.

Lo importante ahora es no olvidarnos que la pandemia sigue ahí, y que aunque la nieve haya dejado unos paisajes idílicos y apetezca pisar nieve, debemos hacerlo con mucha precaución.

Ya estamos en 2021. Un año después de haber empezado a oír sobre el COVID, seguimos con contagios y otra vez en aumento. Esperemos que la vacuna nos dé pronto una tregua.
