Todavía recuerdo, hace poco tiempo, cuando lo más moderno era llevar el móvil más pequeño.

Ahora no sabes si llevas un móvil o una tablet en la oreja, y competimos para ver quién a tiene más grande, la tablet me refiero.

A este paso, en pocos años, iremos con el televisor de 50 pulgadas en la mochila, para hablar por teléfono.

La importancia de las métricas

Ya sabemos que no se puede controlar, aquello que no se puede medir, y por eso necesitamos métricas que nos den una idea de como están funcionando nuestros sistemas.

Tampoco es bueno tener muchos indicadores, porque entonces la situación no es manejable. Necesitamos la información justa, y quizás sea ese el problema, encontrar el equilibrio.

Es importante tener las métricas justas, que nos permitan mejorar nuestros procesos, y no que simplemente llenen unos informes, que luego nadie lee.

We can not control, that we can not measure, and for that we need information to know how are systems are working.

It is not a good idea to have a lot of indicators, because in this case the situation is not manageable. We need the right information, although to find the balance, probably is the big issue.
